Arts Exhibits: Duncan Baird/Cetin Oguz and Elizabeth Austin

Two new exhibits open at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries on January 13 with a reception from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Duncan Baird and Cetin Oguz will bring a decidedly contemporary two-man multi-media exhibition informed by the human condition to the McIlroy Gallery. In the Holzhauer Gallery, Elizabeth Austin will display her cassetinas, Italian for "little boxes." These small-scale works evoke magical, otherworldly scenes, and have often been compared to jewel boxes or reliquaries.
